Each herb has specific benefits for skin afflictions but they all come under the heading of antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Together, they are effective for all your booboos. Even the castor oil makes it especially beneficial for bruises and burns. This particular product was requested by a Mom with 3 sons and a husband, so essentially 4 boys. However, none of us can escape the cuts, bruises, wounds, and other little skin irritations we incur weekly (children daily).
