Description

Our organic, non-greasy sunscreen starts with our Body Butter formula and we add Zinc Oxide which is the only sun protection ingredient approved by the FDA for infants.  The oils are absorbed for moisturizing and the zinc, with regular particle size, stays on the surface of the skin to reflect both UVA and UVB rays and prevent them from damaging cells.

You’ll love how it melts on the skin and is non-greasy for clean protection.  A little goes a long way.  The SPF of 20 is based on the zinc oxide.  All the oils also have a natural SPF with Carrot Seed oil being the highest, so it’s always in this formula.  This will contribute to a higher SPF without adding unnecessary toxic chemicals.

A bonus is the Lemongrass essential oil which is also a bug repellent.  This sunscreen is simple and effective.  It is not possible for any lotion to not be removed during swimming, so be safe and reapply.  Be smart and have sun protection before you walk out the door EVERY day…….yes, even in the winter and cloudy days.  It’s a good habit to develop.

The one ounce bottle is perfect to keep in the bathroom.  It’s part of my morning routine to prepare for the day……face, neck, and back of hands.

I asked Nancy about a sunscreen and got the big pump jar and the cream to take along when out at games, etc. during the summer. The pump bottle was hard to use since the cream is quite think. Nancy suggested I add some refined water which helped, but then she suggested I mix it half and half with Restore, and that is just perfect. I emptied the sunscreen out of the pump jar as best as I could and put it in a glass jar. That way it is quicker in the morning to make my day cream.
